Alright so day number 3 of Moustache May and I’m ready to get this charity thing in as a priority. So here’s the deal…

1) First person to donate will get a special something from yours truly.

2) If you donate $25 or more, I will send you an original Polaroid photograph taken by me (subject matter could be anything).

3) For every person that donates $100 or more, I will donate $50 of my own money.

4) At the end of each week I will pick a person at random to also receive a prize.

Not that you need all these incentives to help children smile or have a home for a moustache, but its just my way of saying thank you for helping in a cause that I believe in.

Despite the lack of smiling in this photo, this is day one of my month long celebration of Moustache. I’ll update soon with more details. I plan to do some donating myself and give away some fun stuff to those that donate.

Why I'm Participating

Each year when May rolls around it means its time to shave away the beard and leave nothing but a blonde moustache. This year I'd like to use my upper lip hair to do something good. No matter your gender, race, personal beliefs, or otherwise, I think that every human being deserves a place to put a moustache and every human being should be able to smile. So this year I have chosen to support Smile Train with my stache. I know that we're in a recession and everything but if you are able to donate, know that your donation is helping put another smile into the world.

The Rules

Smile Train is an international charity that provides cleft lip and cleft palate surgery to children in need, as well as providing cleft-related training to doctors.
