Enjoying a martini...
Spending some time today fixing up the pool… and enjoying a drink with my son. Ah, somethings about Arizona never get old.
Life with PKD
Polycystic kidney disease impacts approximately 500,000 people in the USA alone. Its the forth leading cause of kidney failure. Currently there is no cure, but organizations like the PKD foundation are working to help fund a cure. By donating to them you can be part of the solution.

Kidney failure...
If you know someone who has kidney failure, you know all too well what happens. But without folks around you being impacted by kidney failure its really hard to understand what’s happening. People think dialysis will solve the problems when your kidneys fail but that really just delays things. It slows down death. There is a 20% mortality rate for people on dialysis. The best thing about it is that if your on dialysis you can live longer while a donated kidney can be found. Even if you don’t feel comfortable being a live kidney donor, at least mark your driver’s license to be an organ donor.
Just got back...
Got back from a BMX birthday party in the wind… stache is holding up even if I’m not.
Happy May Day
The first stache photo of the month, on beautiful May Day. A great day for being outside.
About to start the month...
Posting a picture of me in my traditional goatee before I change it to a moustache. Like last time, I’ll shape it to look like Trotsky’s moustache.
