I can’t communicate loud enough how thankful I am for the generosity and support of my friends, family and co-workers! Together we’ve raised over $1500 for St. Mary’s Food Bank and the Fund-A-Stacher’s combined have raised over $12,500 for a bunch of great organizations. If you’re late to the party and missed the official month of Moustache May, you can still contribute to any of the causes.
Also, I’m committed to keeping my ‘stache a whopping 25 days longer due to the incentives put in place during the last week. Thanks again!
May is almost over!
The month of May is quickly coming to a close and with it’s end will also end the existence of the glorious moustache that I wear in support of St. Mary’s Food Bank.
But fret not, for there’s a simple way to extend the utility of said ‘stache!
For every donation of $25 or more I will delay shaving this perfect specimen of a ‘stache 1 day. And, that’s not all… a donation of $50 or more will buy you 3 days, and a donation of $100 or more will buy an entire week! If you do your job, I will be wearing this fundraising lip hair all summer long. In addition, I am now taking photo requests for donations of $50 dollars or more.
Please help the St. Mary’s feed nearly 300,000 meals a day to hungry people by using the ‘donate now!’ button and donating as much as you can to this wonderful organization. Thanks so much for your support! Jay.
Why St. Mary's Food Bank?
Whenever I’m considering donating any money to an organization, I first look them up on Charity Navigator (http://www.charitynavigator.org/) to see if the charity acts efficiently when they distribute the funds I may or may not be donating. St. Mary’s Food Bank has one of the best records I’ve ever seen on that site. From the St. Mary’s site:
Charity Navigator praises St. Mary’s, saying the Food Bank “consistently executes its mission in a financially responsible way, and outperforms most other charities in America …and demonstrates to the public it is worthy of their trust.”.

Fund my moustache for the hungry
During the month of May I will be growing and showing a ‘stache for cash to support our local food bank, St. Mary’s Food Bank. St. Mary’s is a really cool organization. From their website:
