It is that spoken dreaded word, Cancer. Almost everyone has been touched by it in some way, either by a family member or a friend. The rising number of cancer cases is exponential, But, I believe that together we can make a significant difference. Cancer research is expensive. A scientist who operates a research laboratory could spend between $50,000 to half a million dollars per year on equipment and salaries.
Take action and speak up about the disease. I truly believe that together we can make a difference and work our way to a cancer-free future. Imagine waking up one morning and hearing that no one died from cancer today, or imagine a world where kids get cancer immunization along with their other shots. Imagine a world where no one has to be afraid of cancer. We have to continue making cancer research a priority today because this disease has haunted us for too long now.
